Job summary

Development Objective in the Greater Brisbane Area is seeking a Cadastral Surveyor for a full-time, on-site role. You will perform precise land and boundary surveys, prepare survey plans, and ensure compliance with Queensland standards and local authority requirements.

You will use GNSS, total stations, and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to process data, support subdivisions and easement definitions, maintain records, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, councils, and clients to

Qualifications

• Cadastral surveying and boundary definition experience.
• Subdivision surveys and survey plans knowledge.
• Proficient with GNSS, total stations and CAD software.
• Understanding of Queensland land titling, regs and approvals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field measurements using GNSS and total stations to establish boundaries.
• Process and validate survey data for subdivisions and easements.
• Prepare survey plans and boundary reports in compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate survey records and QA processes.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, councils, and clients to clarify requirements.
• Contribute to project planning and timely delivery of surveys.
