Job summary

3J Joinery in Sydney is seeking experienced Cabinet Makers and Joiners for ongoing projects across the region. The role covers both factory/workshop production and on-site installation, with emphasis on precise cabinet construction and safe, quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates will read and interpret plans, demonstrate hands-on joinery expertise, and work well either independently or as part of a team. Competitive hourly rates apply with ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Cabinet Maker or Joiner.
• Experience in factory/workshop environments.
• Experience with on-site installation.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of joinery and cabinetry construction.
• Experience using relevant hand and power tools.
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembling cabinets and joinery.
• Reading plans and taking measurements.
• Cutting, assembling and finishing cabinetry.
• Using workshop machinery and power tools.
• Installing cabinets, joinery and related structures on-site.
• Working from detailed plans and specifications.
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety.
• Working collaboratively with other trades and site teams.
