Zest Building on Sydney's Northern Beaches is offering an apprenticeship for a Cabinet Maker. You will assist in manufacturing and installing joinery, work with timber and cabinetry, and learn from experienced tradespeople in a small, hands-on workshop.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking, or looking to start, a Cabinet Maker Apprenticeship.
• Genuine interest in woodworking and joinery.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Takes pride in their work with good attention to detail.
• Can follow instructions and work as directed.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Committed to developing skills to become a qualified tradesperson.
• Has a White Card or willing to get one before starting.
• Has a current NSW Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the manufacture and installation of joinery.
• Working with timber, cabinetry and other materials.
• Using hand and power tools safely.
• Reading plans and taking measurements.
• Assisting with installations on residential building projects.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workshop and worksite.
• Learning from experienced tradespeople and developing your skills.
