Job summary

Kitchen Net Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join our manufacturing team in Silverwater, NSW. The role involves reading drawings, manufacturing cabinets and joinery, and occasional onsite installation. A Certificate III in Cabinet Making and practical joinery experience are required.

You will work in a modern workshop with opportunities for overtime and professional development in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cabinet Making
• Timber Technology or relevant trade qualification
• Minimum one year of relevant practical experience in cabinetmaking or joinery

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Prepare cutting lists and select appropriate materials.
• Operate cabinetmaking machinery, including CNC machines, panel saws, and edge banders.
• Manufacture and assemble kitchen cabinets and custom joinery.
• Install cabinet components, hardware, fittings, and accessories.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber, MDF, and other materials.
• Maintain high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform occasional onsite installation and repair work.
• Comply with all workplace health and safety procedures.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
• Current driver’s licence.
• White Card.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
