Job summary

Gemstone Joinery in Queensland is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our busy factory team, producing high‑quality cabinetry for luxury resorts.

You\'ll have 2–3 years’ cabinet making experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We offer above‑award wages, ongoing training, and overtime opportunities.

This is a full-time role with stable hours, a friendly team, and room to grow within a respected industry leader.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ cabinet making experience.
• Trade qualification is a bonus, not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Construct high-quality cabinetry units in a factory setting.
• Work 8-hour shifts, 5:30 am–2:00 pm (Fridays 11:30 am).
• Take opportunities for overtime when available.

About Us

Gemstone Joinery is the exclusive cabinetry supplier to GemLife, one of Australia’s fastest‑growing luxury lifestyle resort developers. With GemLife delivering 40+ homes per month, our workload is consistent and secure - no quoting, no gaps, just ongoing, high‑quality work.

Due to continued growth and increased demand across our projects, we’re looking for a Cabinet Maker to join our team full-time at our busy factory.

We also welcome applications from3rd or 4th year apprenticeswho are eager to learn and grow in a supportive and quality-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Constructing high-quality cabinetry units for our resorts—factory-based work only
• Working 8-hour shifts
• 5:30 am – 2:00 pm (11:30 am Fridays)
• Enjoy early finishes and optional overtime

What You’ll Need:

• At least 2–3 years’ experience in cabinet making (for trades)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Trade qualification (Cert III in Cabinet Making) is a bonus, not a must
• Positive, can-do attitude and a team-first mindset
