We’re looking for a C# Developer to join Kogan.com’s fast-moving, close-knit internal operations tech team. You’ll design, build, and optimise internal applications and systems that power the day-to-day operations of our business, impacting thousands of customers, team members, and suppliers. The role covers full-stack development, API and database improvements, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver smart, scalable solutions.

You’ll work on high‑impact projects with direct visibility across the business, gain hands‑on experience with complex, large‑scale e‑commerce systems

What you’ll do

Architect, build and scale new features across our internal platforms that power every part of Kogan.com’s operations.
Continuously improve backend databases and APIs to boost performance, reliability and scalability for thousands of customers, team members and suppliers.
Work closely with our Business Analyst and stakeholders across logistics, engineering and other teams to turn business needs into smart, efficient technical solutions.
Take ownership across the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, UAT and deployment, with code shipping to production frequently.
Support a culture of engineering excellence by contributing to QA efforts, peer reviews and helping lift the technical bar across the team.

What you’ll need

Technical Skills: Proven experience with C# .NET Framework, .NET (for Linux and Windows), MS SQL Server, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and REST APIs.
Version Control: Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices.
Testing Proficiency: Solid experience with unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and maintainability.
Cloud and Containerization: Familiarity with AWS and Docker is a strong advantage.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on building effective working relationships.
Conscientiousness: Takes ownership and accountability for deliverables, monitors outcomes post‑deployment, and proactively resolves issues or bugs.
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environment, with the flexibility and drive to adjust to shifting priorities.
