Job summary

Monadelphous Group in Australia seeks a Junior E&I Project Engineer to support our Engineering and Construction division across mining, oil & gas, power generation and wind projects. You will work with site, project managers and client representatives to meet objectives on time and within safety, cost and quality constraints, with a 2:1 FIFO roster and flights from capital cities provided.

This role requires an Australia-recognised engineering qualification and strong capability in change

Qualifications

• Experience in on-site project engineering or coordination for large-scale resources construction/maintenance projects.
• Australia-recognised engineering qualification or trade certificate.
• Strong commercial understanding, budgets/construction metrics and change management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Site Manager and Project Manager to meet objectives on time, cost, safety and quality.
• Liaise with client representatives to deliver to requirements.
• Manage interface between engineering and project delivery to maintain specifications, schedules, and contract.
• Supervise resolution of technical queries as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality
• Liaise with client representatives and deliver to meet their requirements
• Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract
• Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required

What you’ll bring:

• Experience working in an on-site project engineering or coordination position for large-scale resources construction/maintenance projects
• An Australia recognised, tertiary qualification in Engineering or Trade Certificate
• Clear technical skills withdemonstratedcapability in commercials, budgets/constructionmetricsand change management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills
