ETISK is seeking a Buyer / Product Developer for an Australian womenswear ecommerce brand. You will take ideas from concept through development, sampling and production, then monitor online performance.
You will work across fabrics, prints, shapes and fit, turning customer insight into commercially strong ranges. You’ll manage a busy critical path, liaise with suppliers (primarily in China), and collaborate with Planning, Marketing and the CEO to balance newness with proven sellers while
Spot the opportunity. Develop the product. Buy it well. Then see how the customer responds.
If you love buying but want more involvement in creating the product, this role gives you both.
This Australian womenswear Ecommerce brand has built a loyal following around clothes women actually want to wear. Dresses are at the heart of the business, alongside a broader range of accessible, size-inclusive fashion. Fit matters. Fabric matters. And knowing what the customer will come back for matters most.
They’re looking for a Buyer / Product Developer who can take an idea through development, sampling and production, then stay close to how it performs once it lands online.
A role for someone who loves getting into the product.
You’ll work across fabrics, prints, shapes and fit, turning customer insight and trend ideas into commercially strong ranges. You’ll need to know when a sample needs another round, where a costing needs challenging and which product deserves more investment.
With around 25 new options launching each week, there’s plenty happening. You’ll manage a busy critical path, work directly with suppliers, predominantly in China, and keep development moving without losing sight of quality or margin.
Working closely with Planning, Marketing and the CEO, you’ll:
You’ll bring buying judgement and the practical knowledge to make the product happen.
You might be a Buyer already, or a strong Junior Buyer ready for broader ownership. Either way, you’ll have hands-on product development or design experience and a confident understanding of garment construction.
You can talk fit and technical detail with a factory, then work through margin and stock investment with a planner. You’re comfortable managing plenty of options, keeping deadlines on track and making decisions.
Experience in womenswear is important, along with an interest in wearable, inclusive fashion and how clothes fit different bodies.
Why give this one a look?
It’s a lean team where you’ll be close to the decisions, the customer and the results. You’ll have scope to shape the range, build direct supplier relationships and see the product you’ve developed go live.
For someone who enjoys the creative and commercial sides of fashion equally, there’s a lot to get stuck into.
