Lambda Recruitment is seeking a Business Services & Tax Manager for a boutique accounting and advisory firm in Sydney. This hands-on leadership role focuses on client relationships, mentoring staff, and driving workflow.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in Australian public practice with strong tax knowledge and client management skills. Career progression is available within a growing firm with acquisitions on the horizon.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in Australian public practice, with several as manager.
• Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge.
• Proven client and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• The ideal candidate will have a high-calibre skillset and experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare & manage BAS/IAS, tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Explain implications of Div7A, UPE and Sect.109 to clients.
• Assess group structures and inter-entity taxation issues.
• Maintain or create loan agreements and plan repayments/dividends.
• Handle STP, TPAR, MFR, QBCC reporting, FBT, CGT and other compliance.
• Manage SME/LSE portfolio as trusted adviser.
• Lead, mentor and develop approximately 4–5 staff.
• Oversee workflow, allocations and deadlines.
• Ensure high-quality client service and technical compliance.
