Location: St Margaret Mary's College - Hyde Park QLD

Salary Range: $121,496- $136,745 per annum pending experience

St Margaret Mary's College is looking for passionate and dedicated Business Manager to work in a Permanent, Full Time capacity working 38hrs/week.

As a valued member of the Townsville Catholic Education (TCE) team, the Business Manager provides effective leadership and management of the College’s financial, administrative, and support services to ensure integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.This role oversees accounting, budgeting, debt management, and reporting processes while ensuring adherence to governance standards, legislation, and TCE policies.

Working closely with the Principal and leadership team, the Business Manager delivers sound financial advice to support the College Improvement Plan, supervises office and support staff, and ensures the College’s facilities and grounds are well maintained and safe. The position also plays a key role in workplace health and safety, insurance, and workers’ compensation matters, promoting a culture of care and compliance. Success in this role requires demonstrated experience in financial management, leadership, and the use of integrated business systems, along with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. A commitment to the Catholic ethos, continuous improvement, and student wellbeing is essential, as is the ability to model professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to all TCE and legislative requirements.
