Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Business Intelligence Coordinator, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be a critical player in managing the companys data ecosystem. This role involves ensuring accurate data collection, analysis and the provision of actionable insights. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders across various departments to understand and address their data needs, develop and implement data products and dashboards and foster a data‑driven environment. Responsibilities also include driving a client‑focused approach, conducting comprehensive data analysis and identifying key business trends and patterns.

  • Business Stakeholders Needs Assessment : Collect and analyze client needs to ensure the successful migration from Reporting Services (SSRS) to Power BI.
  • Collaboration : Work with stakeholders across various departments (e.g. Retail Merchandising Finance) to identify and address challenges where data insights can drive solutions.
  • Operations Management : Drive operational excellence by facilitating daily team meetings, assigning Freshdesk tickets effectively and fostering collaborative problem‑solving discussions.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights that can inform business decisions.
  • Strategic Support : Assist the business team in making informed decisions by providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Problem‑Solving : Utilize analytical skills to address complex business problems, track performance and enable rapid decision‑making through designed analytical solutions.
  • Data Configuration & Implementation : Ensure accurate data collection, configuration and implementation within the BI framework focusing on building logic and data products in Power BI.
  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance : Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across all data sources and systems.
  • Innovation & Collaboration : Collaborate with the Data & IT team to leverage new technologies and methodologies enhancing the data platform and overall company performance.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing : Educate and train business users on Power BI tools and best practices to foster a data‑driven culture within the organization ensuring a smooth transition from SSRS.
We are looking for the below skillset and experience
  • 3 years of experience on similar position
  • Proven track record in supporting data transformation projects nice to have would be migrating from legacy systems to modern BI tools like Power BI
  • Experience in working with Power BI and Paginated Reports
  • Experience manipulating and analyzing structured and unstructured data with SQL (any SQL dialect)
  • Knowledge of ETL / ELT Modelling and Reporting
  • Experience in working with data stakeholders and addressing their needs effectively
  • Passion for data and love for driving decisions through numbers
  • English at business level
