They are one of Australia's leading banks, with both national and international reach. As a result of continued growth and successes, we are seeking a driven and dynamic BDM focused on first party and direct to business bankers to join their team within the SME segment.

Role Overview

You will specialise and originate direct through business channels within the SME segment with lending of up to $3 million. Key aspects of this role include:

  • Focus on New Business Acquisition through first-party referrers with business and commercial lending needs up to $3 million;
  • Utilise your local network and engage with the community to grow and develop your portfolio;
  • Write and prepare quality credit submissions to submit to the credit committee;
  • Provide a holistic approach to understanding your customers' needs and come up with solutions in their best interest; and
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell other products and services.
Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An established network of direct to business referral partners and channels and centres of influence in your local community;
  • Knowledge of all small to medium enterprise loan and deposit products, in addition to all other products and services; and
  • A love of building long term business relationships and business development
