About the Role:

Our client is a well‑respected industry leader, who has been enhancing the quality of people’s lives for over 40 years. They have developed trusted partnerships across multiple markets, including Public and Private Hospitals, Allied Health, Aged Care and Community Care.

An exciting and challenging opportunity is now available for a highly driven BDM, who will be responsible for New Business Development and Key Account Management of specialist medical and healthcare products into the Aged Care sector throughout Victoria.

We are looking for a confident, high‑energy professional who has a hunger for success and is not afraid to hunt for new leads and who loves the thrill of a new sale as much as growing great client relationships. To be successful you will need to be a commercially astute individual, who has demonstrated experience in the capital sales process into the aged care sector.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for securing new business and supporting the needs of existing customers throughout the Victoria Region
  • Undertake face to face meetings, sales visits and remote meetings via online conferencing platforms
  • Prepare and conduct presentations to key clients/contacts/interested parties
  • Proactively follow leads through to closure of the sale
  • Meet and exceed agreed KPI’s and Sales Targets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
  • Create a strategic approach in identifying new opportunities and solutions
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences and expo's to promote products and build industry relationships
  • Be available to travel on a regular basis as required
Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated Business Development experience of clinical and medical equipment across the Aged Care sector
  • Experienced in capital equipment sales processes, particularly at CEO/COO level or similar
  • Strong track record of accomplishments and sales success
  • Highly driven, with the ability to consistently meet and exceed targets
  • Ability to develop and nurture long‑term customer relationships
  • Be flexible in your business approach and be able to quickly pivot to meet market needs
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and accountability, with the ability to analyse data and make data driven decisions
  • Sound computer skills including MS Office and CRM systems
  • Current drivers licence
  • Be available to travel extensively throughout your Territory
