Join to apply for the Business Analyst – Testing and QA role at the The Benevolent Society. Full‑time position based on Gadigal Country in Glebe, Sydney. 6‑Month contract with Hybrid Working. $101k – $125k pro rata + Super + Salary Packaging.

Your new role

In this role, you'll be the go‑to person for testing, quality assurance, and process documentation, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, create clear process flows, and keep everyone aligned. If you know your way around finance processes (bonus points for NFP experience) and have a knack for problem‑solving, we want to hear from you! Join our FinERP project on a 6‑month contract, where familiarity with D365 is a big plus, and if you're an Excel whiz, even better. What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop detailed test scenarios, scripts, and use cases to validate system functionality.
  • Coordinate and execute testing activities, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Track and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, diagrams, Quick Reference Guides, and FAQs.
  • Act as liaison between business users, SMEs, and the implementation partner to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and assist in risk and issue management.
  • Support data validation and reconciliation activities during migration (desired).
  • Perform other activities as directed by the project manager and business lead.

What You'll Bring
  • Tertiary qualifications in business analysis, finance, information systems, or a related field; proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in finance‑related projects within a not‑for‑profit (NFP) organisation.
  • Strong understanding of finance modules (AP, AR, GL, etc.) is essential.
  • Knowledge of budget planning, preparation, and forecasting processes is highly regarded.
  • Experience in testing and quality assurance within ERP implementations.
  • Familiarity with D365 Finance & Operations is an advantage.
  • Experience in data migration (transformation and cleansing) is desirable.
  • Ability to create detailed process documentation, including data flows and process diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
