Job summary

Professional Search Group is seeking an experienced Business / Systems Analyst to join a functional focused team supporting business critical systems and digital services within a large organisation in the education sector.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand requirements, map processes, and translate needs into practical system and process improvements, with hands-on AscenderPay experience essential.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience with AscenderPay.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proven ability to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Experience mapping and improving business processes.
• Practical SQL and data-analysis skills.
• Experience with testing, UAT and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with business users, system teams and delivery teams throughout the change lifecycle.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, requirements and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure solutions align with business requirements and deliver the intended outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Analyse existing systems, processes, data flows and integrations.
• Support system enhancements, implementations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
