Job summary

Australian Taxation Office is seeking motivated Business Analysts to join our Frontline Operations group. You will lead and support the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring integrity of Australia’s tax and superannuation systems.

You will work across Frontline Business Improvement, Frontline Risk and Strategy, and Frontline Resource Management, managing stakeholders, eliciting requirements, and guiding design and delivery of solutions to achieve strategic objectives.

We are seeking motivated Business Analysts to join our Frontline Operations group.

As a member of Frontline Operations, you will lead and support the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring the integrity of Australia’s tax and superannuation systems.

As a Business Analyst in our Frontline Business Improvement, Frontline Risk and Strategy, and Frontline Resource Management business areas, you will use your technical expertise and business knowledge to manage stakeholders, elicit and analyse requirements, and support the design and delivery of business solutions that achieve strategic objectives.

You will lead complex information gathering activities, translating information and data from varied sources into clear insights and recommendations and actionable outcomes. You will assess and validate solutions, identify impacts and risks, and communicate complex information to support informed decision-making.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to build a shared understanding of business needs, influence positive outcomes and ensure solutions deliver business needs. You will lead and mentor a team, building analytical capability and empowering staff to achieve technical excellence.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Burnie, Canberra, Dandenong, Gosford, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong.
