Regional Group Australia is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to prepare and present timely management information and reporting for the group. You will collect, consolidate and analyze data across operations, supporting internal controls and compliance.

The role offers Brisbane-based work preference with openness to exceptional candidates from other locations who can contribute effectively to the team.

Regional Group Australia (RGA) are currently seekinga highly motivated Business Analyst to support our Group in the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely management information and reporting.

This role is responsible for data collection, consolidation and analysis for the various and exciting segments of the operations. This position is also required to aid in the maintenance and implementation of internal controls and compliance.

While Brisbane is the preferred location for this role, we are open to considering exceptional candidates from other regional and metropolitan locations who possess the skills, knowledge, and experience required to make a meaningful contribution to the team.

In your new role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Own the preparation and coordination of recurring management reports and review packs.
• Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Prepare clear commentary on key movements, risks and opportunities.
• Consolidate, validate and reconcile information across plants, business units and reporting systems.
• Coordinate capital applications, financial models, documentation, registers and approval tracking.
• Support quarterly forecasts and annual operating plans.
• Undertake plant, product, customer, project, cost and profitability analysis.
• Improve recurring reports using advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI and approved enterprise tools.
• Financial investments and contractual undertakings
• Compliance of internal control procedures and policies
• Maintain accurate workpapers, assumptions, calculations and version control.
