Business Administrator – Mackay, QLD

Join Kinetic, Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most trusted bus operator, and play a vital role in supporting our workforce and operations in Central Queensland.

About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and highly organised Business Administrator to support our operational team at our Mackay Depot. You’ll deliver friendly, efficient customer service while supporting day‑to‑day office operations. Handling reception duties, enquiries, processing mail, maintaining records and databases, and assist with general admin tasks. The role also supports report preparation, stakeholder communication, and contributes to projects and continuous improvement across the depot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients, visitors, and staff professionally and provide accurate service information.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and in‑person inquiries; direct or resolve as needed.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Log, resolve, or elevate customer complaints and maintain accurate records in the Kinetic database.
  • Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, ordering supplies, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Maintain databases, platforms, and systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
