Brisbane City Council is hiring for a Temporary Full Time Traineeship (2 Years) to operate our bus network across Brisbane. Join a supportive depot team, receive paid training and ongoing development while you learn to transport passengers safely and provide friendly service.

Eligibility includes Australian work rights, a C class licence held three years, and a clean driving record; HR licence training is provided. Availability Mon–Fri during the 8-week training.

Qualifications

• Australian work rights.
• Australian C class licence held for at least three years.
• Clean driving history (demerit points restrictions).
• Ability to obtain Driver Authorisation and HR licence (training provided).
• Availability Monday–Friday during the 8-week training program.

Salary Range

• Temporary Full Time Traineeship (2 Years):AUD $1,332 per week gross + superannuation


• Casual:$43.81 inclusive of 25% Casual Loading + superannuation


• Penalties, overtime and allowances apply in addition to the above rate

Eligibility Requirements

• Have a clean driving history (i.e. not accrued more than six demerit points in the past three years, or had a suspended license or good behaviour period in the last four years, excluding SPER)


• Availability Monday–Friday during the 8week training program

The ability to obtain:

• HR licence (training provided)
