Busways in Ryde, NSW, is hosting a Career Discovery Day for aspiring bus drivers. The event offers full training and upgrading from C class to Medium Rigid (MR) licences with ongoing support.

Attendees with MR or higher licences and clean driving history are encouraged to join. The day features a short presentation, bus driving demonstrations for C licence holders, a drive-test with accredited trainers, and a potential interview.

Busways are hiring bus drivers in Ryde. You'll enjoy a well-paid, local community role in essential services.

If you love to drive, visit our Ryde Career Discovery Day to learn everything there is to know about becoming a bus driver and joining the Busways team!

Full training is provided. For eligible applicants Busways will upgrade your drivers licence from C class to Medium Rigid (MR) with ongoing support along with accreditations that are required for you to become a bus driver.

Applicants who hold a current, valid Medium Rigid or above driver’s licence and have a good driving history are encouraged to attend.

Sign-on bonus available when you gain employment.

This event will be comprised of two sessions:

• 10:00AM-12:00PM
• 12:30PM-2:30PM

What to expect on the day:

• Watch a short presentation
• A bus driving demonstration in the bus for C class licence holders only
• A chance to get your application rolling by completing a drive test/assessment with one of our accredited trainers in a bus
• Job Interview if interested
• The chance to speak to our friendly recruitment team
• Light food and drink

Please wear closed in shoes and if you require reading glasses please also bring these on the day.

Your attendance will be confirmed via a booking confirmation email. If you are placed on the waitlist, you will also be notified. Bookings are allocated in the order registrations are received and are also subject to meeting the eligibility requirements of the role which are outlined in the registration form.

*Please note: Registration is mandatory to attend. Each session -10:00 AM and 12:30 PM - is limited to 6 attendees respectively. Once registrations are full any further applications will be put on a waiting list.
