Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a hands-on Building Maintenance Technician for a busy commercial asset in Darlinghurst, Sydney. You will handle day-to-day maintenance, site presentation, contractor coordination and compliance to keep the building safe, efficient and attractive.

We’re looking for experience in commercial facilities, strong WHS awareness, and the ability to work independently in a live environment. A White Card is preferred and chiller/HVAC knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of chiller upkeep and HVAC coordination.
• Proven experience in commercial facilities or building maintenance.
• Experience working in plant rooms and around building services.
• Strong WHS and compliance awareness.
• Able to work independently in a live environment.

• Daily and weekly building inspections
• General maintenance including lighting, minor plumbing, painting and repairs
• Plant room checks and basic plant maintenance
• Awareness of chiller systems and coordination of HVAC contractors

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Location - Darlinghurst

Salary: $95,000 + Super

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-managed commercial and retail asset for a hands-on Building Maintenance Technician.

This is a site-based role suited to someone with solid commercial building experience who can support day-to-day maintenance, building presentation, contractor coordination and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily and weekly building inspections


• General maintenance including lighting, minor plumbing, painting and repairs


• Plant room checks and basic plant maintenance


• Awareness of chiller systems and coordination of HVAC contractors


• Reactive and preventative maintenance support


• Contractor and cleaning coordination


• WHS, risk and compliance support including fire safety activities

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE - Understanding of chiller upkeep and HVAC coordination


• Proven experience in commercial facilities or building maintenance


• Experience working in plant rooms and around building services


• Strong WHS and compliance awareness


• Able to work independently in a live environment


• White Card required (licence preferred)
