Job summary

NQ Sheds and Patios PTY LTD and QLD Kit Homes are seeking enthusiastic and skilled full-time Building Crew and Subcontractors to join our Smithfield team in QLD. You will assist in constructing steel frame homes, decks, sheds, carports and patios, and help prepare sites from measurement to footing setup.

A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential to keep projects on schedule. Ideal candidates have practical building trades experience, basic carpentry skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Proven experience in building trades or construction.
Solid understanding of basic carpentry and building techniques.
Reliable and punctual with a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

Assist in constructing and assembling steel frame homes, decks, sheds, carports and patios.
Prepare sites: measure, mark, and set-out footings.
Install frameworks, roofing materials and wall cladding.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work site following health and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to stay on schedule.
Assist with minor repairs and site maintenance as required.
