Wellways Australia Limited is seeking a Building Community Capacity Lead in Greater Shepparton region to drive community engagement and capacity building. You will lead with warmth, strengthen understanding of mental health and wellbeing, and collaborate with services and community groups to shape how the Local evolves.
You will coordinate co-design efforts, invite community voices, and align strategies with lived experience principles while managing staff and driving system change.

As our Building Community Capacity Lead, you will play a central role in how the Mental Health and Wellbeing Local connects with the community, shaping experiences and supporting meaningful engagement. This role blends people leadership with community connection and capacity building. You will develop strong relationships across services and community groups, represent the service with warmth, and help strengthen community understanding of mental health and wellbeing. You will support co design, invite community voices into our work, and contribute to shaping how the Local continues to evolve.
You are a thoughtful, empathetic leader who thrives in collaborative environments. You bring a genuine curiosity about people and communities and have a natural ability to connect with diverse groups, understand different perspectives and create inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued.
