Grow with us! We are currently seeking experienced Field Service Technicians – Plant Mechanic Heavy Diesel to join our team based out of MT Thorley, NSW. BTP is a company dedicated to safety & culture, providing maintenance solutions to clients with the goal to meet & exceed expectations, developing positive relationships.

As a part of our field team & with a key focus on safety, you will bring your mechanical experience & knowledge to maintain, diagnose & repair a range of CAT heavy mining equipment on customer project sites throughout NSW.

About You
  • Passionate about maintaining a high level of workmanship ensuring equipment reliability exceeds customer expectations.
  • A problem solver with analytical skills and a drive for quality improvement.
  • Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety within the mining industry.
  • Experience in customer-facing role promoting positive customer relationships.
  • Expert knowledge of CAT mining equipment with good diagnostic skills.
  • Firm understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems.
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to completing a Full Pre-Employment Medical, Coal Service History Check and National Police Clearance).
  • Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology (NSW Certificate of Proficiency).

Australian Driver Licence - Required

Current Order 43 Coal Board Medical - preferred

Current Dogging & Forklift HRWL - preferred

Current Working at Heights & TRG training - preferred
