United Workers Union in Brisbane is seeking an Organiser to work with members to build workplace power and deliver meaningful outcomes. This role involves enterprise bargaining and industrial relations work, supporting members through bargaining, negotiations and related issues.

Your success will be measured by the strength of workplaces you help build, the leaders you develop and the confidence you inspire to stand together.

Formación

• Experience in enterprise bargaining and industrial relations.
• Passionate, driven and values-based with a commitment to social justice.
• Ability to build relationships with workers.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong relationships with workers.
• Organise and recruit new members to the Union.
• Identify and develop workplace delegates.
• Build active and sustainable organising structures that grow the strength and influence of UWU across your areas of responsibility.
• Support and represent members in enterprise bargaining and workplace negotiations.
• Develop and implement organising plans that grow membership, strengthen workplace leadership and increase member participation.
• Promote and uphold the Union’s values of equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your work.
