Job summary

ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our growing Building Services team. You will take ownership of mechanical design and project delivery across diverse health, commercial, education and government projects, from concept through construction.

You will work closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, coordinated engineering solutions, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the Brisbane office's ongoing

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering with building services exposure.
Experience in design and delivery of mechanical building services including HVAC systems.
Knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards and industry design requirements.
Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary projects and teams.
Strong communication and client engagement skills.
Progress towards or holding professional registration/Chartered status.

Responsibilities

Deliver mechanical building services design for small to medium projects and key packages.
Own project tasks and coordinate technical delivery to meet programme, budget and quality.
Prepare and review calculations, reports, drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and design teams to deliver outcomes.
Undertake site inspections, respond to RFIs, and provide design support through construction.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to Brisbane Building Services growth.
