Job summary

Queensland Parliament is seeking a Service Desk Officer to provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support, delivering excellent customer service across the parliamentary environment. This full-time opportunity is based in Brisbane and involves incident management, user account handling and proactive problem solving.

You will work within a diverse technology environment, using ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory to ensure secure, reliable services for Members and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience providing ICT support in a service desk, help desk or technical support environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and enterprise ICT environments (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory).
• Experience using service management tools such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for ICT support and resolve issues or coordinate escalation.
• Record, track and update incidents and requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, user accounts and system access issues across technologies.
• Provide clear advice to customers and build user capability.
