Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is hiring a role focused on routine troubleshooting and maintenance of air conditioning systems and chillers. You will work with the team to ensure high standards of service and contribute to growth in market share. Valid Australian driver’s license and HVAC qualifications are required.

About the role

Working for a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) you will be provided with a range of exciting opportunities, including exposure to our in‑house product training with Chillers and Building Management Systems (BMS).

Day to day this role will involve routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers and other commercial equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Routine troubleshooting
• Testing repairs and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers and other commercial equipment
• Taking ownership of problems and following through to resolution
• Focusing on high standards of quality, delivery excellence whilst exceeding customer service expectations
• Involvement in growing our sales, increasing our market share and growing the net profitability of our company

Requirements

We are looking for self‑motivated individuals who are proactive, professional, punctual, well presented and possess a can‑do attitude.

As a minimum you must have:

• A high level of communication skills (oral and written)
• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
• Experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Cert 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Air‑conditioning and refrigeration Supervisors licence
• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Training/experience from OEM highly regarded
