Job summary

True Society in Sydney is seeking a career-minded retail professional to join our True Crew as a bridal sales consultant. You will provide an exceptional, consultative experience to brides and their parties, helping them find their dream dress and building relationships throughout the journey.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years in bridal or luxury retail, strong sales aptitude, excellent communication, and a polished, fashion-forward appearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Available to work weekends and evenings.
• 1-2 years bridal sales or other consultative luxury retail experience preferred.
• Proven sales aptitude with the ability to prospect and close retail sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to quickly develop strong product knowledge of the bridal industry and trends.
• Detail-oriented with a keen understanding of fashion and bridal fashion.
• Ability to maintain a fashion-forward and professional appearance.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
• Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to move throughout the store and lift up to 12 kg.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and consistent experience to all brides and their party members.
• Work one-on-one with brides to find their dream wedding dress for their big day.
• Build relationships with brides throughout the entire lifecycle of the experience.
• Provide feedback about emerging bridal trends, accessories, and other add-ons.
• Consistently achieve and maintain sales goals as set by management.
• Assist with implementing new business ideas relating to customer experience and merchandising.
• Participate in and assist with in-store events, bridal fairs, and promotions.
• Maintain high store standards with a clean and well-organised environment.
• Represent the store and designer labels in a professional and consultative manner.
