Job summary

Hometown Australia is seeking an in-house Brand/Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team in Sydney. You will partner with the Marketing Manager and external agency to showcase our communities, design collateral across print and digital channels, and uphold brand guidelines with aspirational, engaging visuals.

About you: around 5 years experience in-house, strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), and a design qualification.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years experience as an in-house brand or graphic designer.
• Strong skills with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and web usability best practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a brand custodian to deliver aspirational, engaging, and consistent collateral in line with brand guidelines.
• Design and complete content for all mediums across sales marketing and community engagement including signage, point of sale, print materials, HTML digital output, newsletters, magazines, and advertising.
• Develop concepts, graphics and layouts being autonomous and proactive and adhering to brand guidelines.
• Liaise with marketing team and external agency to understand the objective of their design jobs, discuss the brief, and agree timelines.
• Design a wide variety of digital and print content including campaigns, print ads, templates, online banners, social media posts and resident communications.
• Own all parts of the design process.
• Demonstrate core design skills, problem solving and creative ideation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders whilst providing clear and professional communication.
