Job summary

Immediate start with consistent roster and potential weekend work. The position offers up to AU$55 per hour plus penalties, with long-term, full-time opportunities in a reputable mining service business based in NSW.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified Boilermaker with FCAW welding experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Strong background in heavy metal fabrication.
• Experience repairing mining equipment.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair, maintenance and fabrication of heavy mining equipment.
• Perform Flux Core (FCAW) welding on heavy metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete fabrication tasks.
• Diagnose and repair worn or damaged plant and equipment components.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
• Work within quality and safety standards on all fabrication and repair tasks.
