Job summary

ECP Polyurethanes, an established Australian manufacturer, is seeking a skilled fabricator to join the Ballina-based workshop. This hands-on role offers autonomy, steady hours and the chance to impact your local fabrication shop.

You could be a boilermaker, sheet metal fabricator or machinist. The position requires reading drawings, welding (GMAW/GTAW), and the ability to work independently with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on fabrication experience.
• Confident with GMAW/GTAW welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings and schedules to complete fabrication tasks independently.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, forming, welding, and finishing.
• Carry out structural and pipe fabrication where required (experience dependent).
• Operate workshop machinery, including lathes, mills, and general fabrication equipment.
• Inspect your work and maintain quality standards.
• Identify process improvements and raise them with the team.
