Job summary

Programmed is seeking an experienced Boilermaker for a Botany-based role. Day shift Mon–Fri, 6am–2:30pm with overtime and shutdown work as required. You will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures according to drawings and specs.

Applicants should hold a Cert 3 in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking) and be proficient in MIG & TIG welding of Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel. Strong teamwork and WH&S compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking) required.
• Competent in MIG & TIG Welding of Steel, Aluminium & Stainless Steel.
• Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Assembling, Welding, bolting, and joining metal pieces to form structures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compliant with WHS regulations and procedures.
• Ability to perform Manual Handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, weld, bolt and join metal pieces to form structures.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Operate welding equipment (MIG/TIG) and fit components.
• Work safely and comply with WHS procedures.
• Collaborate with team to complete fabrication tasks.
• Assist with quality checks and measurements.
