Job summary

Boral Limited in Whinstanes, Queensland, is seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker to join our Asphalt Asset Management team. You will gain hands-on experience maintaining mobile and fixed asphalt plant equipment under the guidance of seasoned supervisors.

No prior plant maintenance experience is required. With the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong safety mindset, you will embark on a formal apprenticeship and a clear career pathway within a historic Australian brand.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of asphalt plant equipment.
• Carry out field-based maintenance with a mobile service vehicle.
• Follow safe work practices and promote safety culture.
• Work with Plant Supervisors to address maintenance and production issues.
• Support Asset Management to improve plant reliability.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Complete routine plant inspections and maintenance checklists.
• Maintain a clean, organised workshop.
• Participate in site safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain focus on quality and environmental responsibility.
