Job summary

Rashi Joshi is seeking a motivated trade-qualified Boilermaker to join a high-performing maintenance and fabrication team supporting a major industrial operation in the Gladstone region. The role involves repair and rebuild of plant equipment, welding and fabrication work, and general maintenance within a safety-critical operation in a busy workshop.

The position is a 6–12 month contract on a lifestyle roster, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate - Boilermaker is mandatory.
• Construction White Card required.
• Current Confined Space ticket.
• Current Working at Heights ticket.
• Experience welding aluminium and steel.
• Gas cutting and lancing experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Repair and rebuild plant equipment in a busy workshop.
• Perform welding and fabrication work.
• Conduct routine maintenance for safety-critical operations.
• Operate within a high-performing maintenance team in a major industrial operation.

Job description

Your new role We are seeking a motivated trade-qualified Boilermaker to join a high-performing maintenance and fabrication team supporting a major industrial operation in the Gladstone region. Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for the repair and rebuild of plant equipment, welding and fabrication work, and general maintenance activities within a safety-critical operation. This is a 6 - 12 month contract working a Lifestyle Roster with a competitive flat hourly rate. Please note: This role is only open to candidates who are residential to the Gladstone region including Gladstone, Boyne Island, Tannum Sands, Calliope, Miriam Vale and surrounding areas.

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade Certificate - Boilermaker
• Construction White Card
• Current Confined Space ticket
• Current Working at Heights ticket
• Demonstrated experience in aluminium and steel welding
• Gas cutting and lancing experience
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and face fit testing

• Previous heavy industrial, refinery, smelter or processing plant experience
