Job summary

V.V.A Engineering is seeking a trade-qualified Boilermaker for a full-time position based in Gympie. The role involves both workshop and site-based work with occasional travel. Overtime is available, and allowances are paid where applicable.

Ideal candidates will hold a Boilermaking trade qualification, be able to read drawings, and show strong attention to detail and safety awareness. TIG welding experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform workshop and site-based boilermaker tasks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and safety standards.
• Move between workshop and site as required, with occasional travel.
• Take advantage of overtime opportunities and allowances where applicable.

We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Qualified Boilermaker to become part of our skilled team. This role involves both workshop and site-based work, with occasional work away as required.

Reasonable overtime is consistently available for those seeking additional hours, and all applicable allowances are paid in line with industry standards.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively
• Sound knowledge of WHS principles
• TIG welding experience (advantageous, but not essential)
