Job summary

Clough Projects and BMD Construction (CBJV) are seeking skilled Boilermakers/Coded Welders to join the East Arm precinct project near Darwin. Experience in marine construction, tubular pile preparation and structural welding is desirable.

Applicants should hold a Trade Qualification as Boilermaker, current MMAW/GMAW/FCAW qualifications and be able to pass a 4G weld test. A Construction Blue/White Card and related safety tickets are expected, with high regard for WHS practices.

Clough Projects and BMD Construction (CBJV) have joined together to deliver the Darwin Ship Lift Facility for the Northern Territory Government. This facility will be the largest ship lift in Northern Australia, serving the maintenance needs of the Department of Defence, Australian Border Force, and the maritime sector, while supporting local jobs and economic growth.

Who We’re Looking For

CBJV seeks Skilled Boilermakers/Coded Welders to join our project team at the East Arm precinct, Port of Darwin. Ideal candidates will have experience in Marine construction, tubular pile preparation and structural welding capability (desirable).

About You

• Trade Qualified Boilermaker.
• Current MMAW,GMAW, FCAW qualifications, able to pass up to 4G weld qualification test
• Current Construction Blue/White Card.
• Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Welding, EWP tickets (highly regarded)
• Ability to read, interpret and fabricate/weld according to workshop drawings.
• A high level of motivation.
• A strong work ethic.
• A commitment to safe work practices.
