Job summary

The Brown and Hurley Group is seeking a dedicated Panel Beater at our Kyogle branch to deliver panel beating services on trucks and trailers. This role includes responsible repairs, quality checks and training apprentices, working in a long-established family business with strong community ties.

We offer generous hourly rates, job security, tool allowance and on-call rates, plus relocation support up to $3,500.

Qualifications

• Automotive Body Repair qualification or any other mechanic qualification.
• Ability to colour match and blend paint.
• Works safely, team player, excellent communicator and problem-solver.
• HR and forklift licence (desirable).
• Truck or Trailer experience an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assess body panel damage
• Carry out body panel repairs and replacements (to your own capability)
• Check own work to ensure it is carried out to the manufacturers' and job requirements
• Help train apprentices and assist other workshop personnel
• Complete job cards correctly
• Provide exceptional and professional customer service
