Job summary

Carrier Australia is seeking a skilled BMS Technician to commission, service and engineer BMCS/DDC systems across site installations. You will ensure tasks meet site standards, statutory requirements and customer satisfaction, while maintaining quality and timely delivery.

Role requires experience with Building Management Systems and HVAC/BMS, strong fault-finding and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team. On-site work with site safety practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Building Management Systems in a professional setting.
• Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide Service, Preventative Maintenance and Commissioning of BMCS/DDC control systems.
• Provide software configuration, testing and commissioning, calibrations and maintenance diagnosis, repair, and basic programming.
• Ensure jobs executed on site, are as per directions provided by Service Management/Operations team.
• Provide high level of technical support to team members, Installers and Service Agents.
• Coordinate and provide field data and documents to the Operations/Service Management team.
• Assist on-site with critical jobs/projects installation, commissioning or troubleshooting.
