About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Blaster / Painter for FIFO work, supporting shutdowns and ongoing maintenance across mining and oil & gas projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface preparation and application of coatings using conventional and airless spray equipment
  • Perform abrasive blasting and industrial painting in accordance with project specifications and safety requirements
  • Ensure surface profiles and coating thicknesses meet required standards
  • Carry out work in confined spaces and at heights as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite, adhering to all WHS policies
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and job scopes
  • Proficient in conventional and airless spray techniques
  • Working at Heights certification - Essential
  • White Card - Essential
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years experience as an industrial blaster / painter
  • Proficient in conventional and airless spray techniques
  • Working at Heights certification - Essential
  • White Card - Essential
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in the mining or oil & gas sector
  • Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application (preferred but not mandatory)
  • NACE Level 1 or 2 certification (advantageous)
  • Confined Space Entry certification
  • EWP / Scissor Lift ticket
  • Previous FIFO or remote work experience
