Job summary

Hunter Coatings, a trusted NSW industrial coatings provider, is seeking personnel for surface preparation, blasting and protective coating applications across multiple Singleton projects. The role entails adhering to mine site safety policies and supporting other teams as needed to ensure high-quality finishes.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application or Painting and Decorating, plus White Card and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application or Certificate III in Painting and Decorating – minimum requirement.
• White Card and Driver's Licence.
• Current Work Safely at Heights and Confined Space certificates.
• High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform.

Job description

Support our Industrial Blast and Paint teams across multiple projects in the Singleton region. You’ll be responsible for surface preparation, blasting and applying high-quality protective coatings on a range of industrial and commercial assets.

You will be responsible for a variety of duties such as;

• Abrasive blasting operations
• Protective coating applications
• Assist other teams where required
• Adhere to all mine site safety requirements, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

ABOUT YOU

• Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application OR Certificate III in Painting and Decorating – minimum requirement
• Order 45 Medical – preferred but not essential
• White Card
• Drivers Licence
• Current Work Safely at Heights and Confined Space current certificate
• High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform
• Strong Team Player, proactive and reliable with high safety standards
