Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support commercial and industrial sites across the region. The role offers immediate start and reliable, weekly pay with casual ongoing assignments.

You will perform general labouring, site prep, handling materials and assist qualified tradespeople, with PPE required. A White Card and a current Drivers Licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card required.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations

• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant

PPE Requirements
