Healthscope Hospitals invites applications from Registered Midwives for flexible, full/part-time or casual roles in the Newcastle Private birth suite. You will collaborate with obstetricians, paediatricians, and lactation specialists to deliver exceptional care in a 6-bed unit.

Join a supportive team, rotate through antenatal, post-natal and the Special Care Nursery, and advance your professional development under the Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF agreements.

Qualifikationen

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
• NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) current where applicable.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within maternity care.

Working alongside highly skilled midwives, consultant obstetricians, paediatricians, educators and lactation consultants, you'll be part of a supportive and close-knit team providing exceptional care to women and families.

More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors is our highest priority. Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $39.09 - $54.89 per hour.
