Job summary

Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS) is seeking an ICT professional to assist in developing and implementing ICT solutions, including Biomedical device integration, aligned with contemporary Information Management (IM)/ICT frameworks across CHQ to ensure high-quality ICT services.

The role supports the CHQ Leaders of Function in accordance with the CHQ Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service values, contributing to Aboriginal and Torres

About the Role

Assist in the development and implementation of ICT solutions including but not limited to Biomedical device integration, whilst ensuring alignment with contemporary Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) frameworks across the Children’s Health Queensland to ensure high quality ICT services.

In this role you will utilise CHQ's resources to maximise the positive impact we have for children, young people and families (Leader of Function) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, testing and support of ICT solutions including software, hardware and/or equipment.
• Assist in the build, documentation, and implementation of Biomedical ICT solutions within best practice ICT design and ICT delivery frameworks.
• Participate in the analysis of local ICT system problems and issues and the formulation and provision of appropriate solutions.
• Utilise appropriate design standards, methods, and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures.
• Actively participate in a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions
• Perform administrative functions and other duties as directed by the Biomedical ICT Manager.
• Commitment and contribution to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health equity reform, to Close the Gap by 2033, as underpinned by the CHQ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Equity Strategy 2022 – 2025.
