Job summary

SC Medical on the Gold Coast is seeking a full-time Biomedical Engineer to maintain and repair modern medical equipment. You will handle service repairs, conduct routine testing, and ensure preventative maintenance in line with Australian Standards.

The role requires healthcare experience, a degree in engineering, strong electrical/electronic/computer skills, and the ability to work independently or with the team. A driver’s license, police checks, and vaccination status are preferred.

Specialising in consulting, medical equipment repairs, medical gases, commissioning services, and on-site biomedical engineering, supporting healthcare facilities across Australia.

Your Role: As a full-time Biomedical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding service. You’ll be at the forefront of handling medical equipment service repairs, conducting routine service testing, and ensuring preventative maintenance in line with Australian Standards. Your proficiency in administrative tasks, including database management, reporting, and stakeholder communication, will be crucial.

What You Bring:

Experience in the Healthcare Industry, ideally with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (though relevant certificates are also considered). If you have recently graduated, please apply. We are always looking for new and experienced engineers to join our team.

Adept in electrical, electronic, and computer skills for modern medical equipment maintenance.

Experience in developing and implementing test methods and equipment, calibration, and validation in medical device contexts.
