Job summary

Lycée Condorcet Sydney is seeking a Teacher Aide to support students with learning disabilities in a bilingual French-English setting. This is a maximum term contract, part-time (15 hours weekly) with pro rata annual salary of 75,146 AUD.

The role involves in-class support, classroom assistance, learning assessments, and collaboration with teachers and the Student Wellbeing team to foster inclusive education and student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar role with children with learning needs.
• Fluent in French and English; ability to bridge languages in classroom
• Knowledge of the French educational system and inclusive education practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students with learning needs
• Assist with literacy and numeracy activities and IEP implementation
• Collaborate with teachers and Student Wellbeing team
• Carry out movement, hygiene and basic supervision tasks as required
• Prepare materials and support communication with parents
