Job summary
Showtime Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Bid Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our Sales and Pursuit team in Australia. This hands-on role focuses on developing delivery schedules, workforce mobilisation plans, transition strategies, and implementation roadmaps for major government and national security bids.
You will collaborate with Capture Managers, Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders, and Executives to ensure proposed solutions are realistic, cost-effective, and aligned to
Qualifications
- Experience in project management, program scheduling, PMO or delivery planning.
- Experience supporting bids, tenders, proposals, or capture activities.
- Strong scheduling skills using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop delivery schedules, mobilisation plans, and transition roadmaps for major bids.
- Work with Capture Managers, Architects, and Delivery SMEs to define executable delivery approaches.
- Create resource plans, staffing profiles, and workforce mobilisation strategies.
- Analyse dependencies, risks, assumptions, and critical milestones.
- Lead planning workshops and support pursuit governance activities.
- Produce proposal artefacts including implementation plans, timelines, and resource models.
- Support customer presentations, clarifications, and solution workshops.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning and scheduling practices.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Bid Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our high-performing Sales and Pursuit team. This is a hands‑on role focused on developing delivery schedules, workforce mobilisation plans, transition strategies, implementation roadmaps, and executable delivery approaches for major government and national security bids. You will play a key role in working alongside Capture Managers, Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders, Workforce Planning teams, and Executives to ensure proposed solutions are realistic, achievable, cost‑effective, and aligned to customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop delivery schedules, mobilisation plans, and transition roadmaps for major bids.
- Work with Capture Managers, Architects, and Delivery SMEs to define executable delivery approaches.
- Create resource plans, staffing profiles, and workforce mobilisation strategies.
- Analyse dependencies, risks, assumptions, and critical milestones.
- Lead planning workshops and support pursuit governance activities.
- Produce proposal artefacts including implementation plans, timelines, and resource models.
- Support customer presentations, clarifications, and solution workshops.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning and scheduling practices.
What You'll Need
- Experience in Project Management, Program Scheduling, PMO, or Delivery Planning.
- Experience supporting bids, tenders, proposals, or capture activities.
- Strong project scheduling skills using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Experience developing implementation, transition, and workforce plans.
- Ability to analyse delivery risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting complex ICT, Government, or Defence programs.
Desirable Skills
- Defence, National Intelligence, or Federal Government experience.
- Managed services, cloud, cyber security, or systems integration exposure.
- Knowledge of Commonwealth procurement and tender processes.
- Experience with transition planning and workforce mobilisation.
- Familiarity with security-cleared workforce planning.
- Active NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance.
