Job summary

Qube Holdings is seeking a Bid Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-quality tender submissions, with a focus on Tier 1 energy sector opportunities. You will work with the Tender Team and subject matter experts to translate customer requirements into compliant, persuasive responses that position Qube to win.

In this role you will manage bid processes end-to-end, coordinate contributors, and ensure on-time submissions across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing and developing complex bid and tender responses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating requirements into persuasive content.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, managing deadlines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender responses through all bid stages from identification to award.
• Support tenders across Qube Energy, Qube International, Qube Ports Australia, Qube Ports New Zealand, Qube Forestry and Qube Government Services.
• Analyze tender documentation and customer requirements; develop response plans and schedules.
• Partner with commercial, operational and technical teams to develop customer-focused win strategies and persuasive responses.
• Manage contributors and stakeholders to ensure inputs are complete and on time.
• Coordinate production, quality assurance, governance approvals and on-time submission.
• Contribute to bid/no-bid assessments and post-bid reviews; capture lessons learned.
• Maintain bid collateral library and templates; keep content updated.
• Update Salesforce records for accurate pipeline visibility and reporting.

Job description

As a Bid Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality, compelling tender submissions, with a primary focus on Tier 1 energy sector opportunities. As part of the Tender Team, you will also support tenders across Qube Ports Australia, Qube Ports New Zealand, Qube International, Qube Forestry and Qube Government Services, as required. Working closely with business units and subject matter experts, you will translate customer requirements into clear, compliant and differentiated submissions that position Qube to win.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage tender responses through all stages of the bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission and contract award.
• Support tenders across Qube Energy, Qube International, Qube Ports Australia, Qube Ports New Zealand, Qube Forestry and Qube Government Services, as allocated by the National Bid Manager.
• Analyse tender documentation and customer requirements, and develop response plans, compliance matrices, schedules and clear accountabilities.
• Partner with commercial, operational and technical teams to develop customer-focused win strategies, value propositions, executive summaries and persuasive written responses.
• Manage contributors and stakeholders to ensure inputs are complete, accurate, consistent and delivered on time and to the Tender Team’s quality standards.
• Coordinate production, quality assurance, governance approvals and on-time submission through the required customer portal or submission channel.
• Contribute to bid/no-bid assessments, post-bid reviews and customer debriefs, capturing and applying lessons learned to improve future outcomes.
• Maintain and continuously improve the bid collateral library, including templates, case studies and supporting content.
• Update Salesforce records to ensure accurate pipeline visibility and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing and developing complex bid and tender responses, preferably within Tier 1 energy, resources, infrastructure, logistics or a related sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convert technical and operational information into clear, persuasive and customer-focused content.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills, including the ability to manage concurrent deadlines and competing priorities.
