Nganboo Borron School in Werribee, part of the Victorian public system, seeks a Behaviour Support Education Support role. You will provide dedicated one-to-one support to students with complex needs, working closely with wellbeing leaders, teachers and ES staff to promote wellbeing, participation and safety.

• Ability to develop positive, respectful relationships with students with diverse learning and behavioural needs.
• Capacity to respond calmly and consistently to heightened emotions or challenging behaviours.
• Ability to follow individual student plans, routines, safety procedures and teacher direction.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills with staff and families.
• Commitment to child safety, inclusion and dignity of students with disability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support to students with complex behavioural, communication and learning needs.
• Develop positive relationships and promote student engagement across classroom and school settings.
• Implement individualised student support strategies and behaviour plans under direction of teachers and ES staff.
• Support emotional regulation, communication, engagement and participation.
• Maintain student dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Contribute to safe, inclusive and respectful school environment and effective transitions.
