Job summary

Avina is seeking Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our national multidisciplinary team across NSW, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. You’ll deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Behaviour Support services in home, school, clinic and community settings.

Qualifications

  • NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability/registration (or IBIS pathway eligibility).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A person-centred, evidence-informed approach.
  • Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community work.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-informed Behaviour Support services across a diverse caseload.
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Support participants, families and stakeholders to implement meaningful strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists.
  • Manage your own schedule with flexibility across community, clinic and telehealth settings.
  • Participate in supervision, peer collaboration and ongoing professional development opportunities.
